First, i would like to thank all the wonderful people who responded to my problem. I received many practical and otherwise unknown options. After careful consideration, i have decided to try adding the AT strip to the motherboard to create another 16 bit slot. This will be quite a task since my A2000 was injected with steroids and bristles with armament. But now my questions is: WHERE DO I GET AN AT SOLDER IN SOCKET??? i've looked in all me computer and electronics catalogs with no luck. called around and salespeople laugh at me. i'm sure i can get an old motherboard somewhere and desolder, but can't i just buy one new? Also, has anyone been able to transfer a 2000 motherboard to an IBM tower case. It looks as if it would fit, and i sure don't want to pay 3 times as much for the bomac tower, which is essentially the same as a regular ibm case. Any suggestions? (i figure i might as well do this if i'm gonna yank the motherboard anyway). And as always thanx in advance.
