Edgar, RGB is very mathematical and programmers by nature like it. CMYK is a printing set of colors many times based on Panatone colors or other makers of inks. RGB is what most video users relate to while CMYK is used as I said by printers. The ultimate result of the image will most likely be the same, it boils down to personal preference. I really wished there was more technology behind these abbre. I am sure that some one else will give you a more detailed reason why this is better than that but the bottom line is with RGB and 8 bits of color per gun you get 24 bits and that gives you 16.7 million colors/ Hope that helps Mike
