Don : My remark about the expense was in regards to buying your own EQ. The price for bata decks is way out there. As far as making money I admit I haven't been looking too hard. I have been focused on my school work. For me it's more of a question of how to break in to the field, I worked 7yrs at a local UHF station and they want me to do their station ID's but because I dont have any professional experence they don't want to pay for it. They feel the exposure it will give my work will pay for the job many times over, Is this how I should start? Another thing that bugs me is all the different types of work out there, Broadcast TV spots, Technical, Architectural, and as a Media for Art, does one specialize or do any work that pays the bills? I guess when I finish my first real project I'll have a better understanding. Sorry if I ruffeled any feathers with my thoughts.
