The speed of 640×480 is there if you have the RAM, Ellison. Having 8MB of RAM for multimedia apps is like having a drop of gasoline in a cadillac. Yes, the car will move, but barely. I have 128MB and always craving more. However, even with 16MB, you can get decent playback. Learn Animator's scripting language for playback including LOADFLIC and FREEFLIC… you'll be amazed what even 8MB can do. Regarding a way to convert 320×200 flics to 640×480, yes you can with ANICONV. BUT keep in mind, you're going to get 2×2 pixelation. After all, there's only so much information in the image… if 320 goes to 640, that means ever pixel has to be doubles, so what used to be a dot is now a 2×2 pixel square. This ain't a limitation of ANI but of the process. You can also try smoothing and unjagging and unzagging inks over the resultant 640×480 flic and see if this helps to antipixelate a bit. -dave
