I should also mention that I have lurked long enough to take the time to go back to the beginning and follow the thread to the present – the the point being that I _am_ trying to stay on top of this and not jump in uninformed. 1) Has this evolved into a closed group with commercial interests or is it still intended to be a collaboration of people willing to contribute to a wonderful concept ? 2) If it is still open to all, are you going to stop long enough to visit politely and make the decisions needed to get underway ? Perhaps the suggested compilation of a list of concerns ? 3) Is it really necessary to change your name in the "From" field all the time ? That's another item that makes the thread tough to follow – right up there with multiple posting areas. 4) The immediate issuance of multiple lots to a single person should be carefully addressed – do you or do you not want as many different people to participate as possible ? 5) Is anyone irritated with me yet ? <G> I really am sincere in these questions. I ran a BBS long enough once to realize how incredibly difficult it is to be properly understood in the online world. I also realize that the beauty of what we do, and what we want to do, needs an outlet. The very fact that a group of people are willing to take the time to get online, to read messages, to respond, to turn around and generate models to release to the public domain, to spend money to give them away… you get the idea. You're dedicated to somthing that is as much an art as it is a science; and I believe we all can use more art, more creative freedom in our lives. So I implore the originator(s) of this concept to bring it to fruition, to share it with others and to let it be what it has the potential to be, regardless of whether it serves a personal purpose or generates recognition. Do something beautiful just because you can. And of course, I would like to formally request my lot. If possible, commercial; if not, residential is always fun work, too. Donald W. Hogan, AIA
