Welcome all to the first ever meeting of the StudioCity 2000 Developers Committee. The purpose of this thread is to allow for an orderely transmission of ideas regarding the development of this fine city. There are many questions that need to be agreed upon to facilitate a smooth integration of all developers' contributions. There is also a need for teamwork, balanced with the need to get things done. What would be helpful is if people use this thread to ask and answer questions related to the logistics of this undertaking, as well as aesthetic considerations. Kevin Gibson has suggested the following format: If you have a question about a topic related to this committee's work, post it as a reply to this message. Do not answer your question or give your view in your reply. Then, after it has posted, reply to your own message with your viewpoint. Do not post new threads. Other people will hopefully give their answers too. Each reply (question/topic) to this message will start a chain of mini-threads, so we will be able to easily follow them. This will allow everyone input if they choose to participate, and will help us better prepare. For a point of reference I refer you to my message to Sanford Kennedy dated 11/30/94, #138738. I think I addressed many valid issues, it would be a good source of questions/topics, Please disregard my bid for mayor, I am happy to facilitate this exchange of ideas. At some point I would be willing to help with the "registering" of deeds, or whatever. I will be throwing up some questions/topics of my own tomorrow. Paul S.
