The University of Dundee has a large collect of satellite images. While I was
stationed in the Scotland for the US Navy I attended a Ministry of Defense
course on Remote Sensors Air, Sea, and Land. Very good course and the
University took great pride in its setup. If it is not to far a drive you
might want to go up and look at the "quick scans" of the NOAA images they have
for review. Cloud cover or other problems may make a pass worthless for your
use so the quick scans save you money on the down loads.
