Hello There, I have a problem with Windows NT and a Stealth 64 video card. The problem is that when I run up NT the screen goes blank part way through the blue screen start up process, and never recovers. Even pressing the reset button will not bring the screen back, although the computer seems to be running fine in the background. Switching off and on again will resume normal operation. It is as if the power down feature is being activated, although I have no proof that this is the case. Details of the problem set up are: Video Card: Diamond Stealth 64 pci Video Memory: 2MB of DRAM Video Bios: 1.03 Operating System: Windows NT version 3.5 build 807 Motherboard: Unbranded VESA/ISA/PCI board with 50MHZ 486 DX processor Bios: Phoenix Version 4.03 Video driver:The Diamond Stealth 64 DRAM driver supplied with NT My questions are: Has anyone at Diamond heard of this problem before? Can anyone suggest a solution? Do Diamond intend to release their own driver for NT version 3.5? The reason I ask is the diamond driver for 3.1 (V1.04) that came with the card works under 3.5 but all the nice 3.5 features for changing resolution/refresh rate/colour depth/font size and testing the new config before commiting yourself then are missing. Any help appreciated, Regards, Jeremy Sonander.
