Michael,
If you put your pallete (.COL file) in for a custom pallete , when you render,
no matter WHAT you render, as long as you render to an 8-bit format, that image
will have your custom pallete.
<< I'm using paledit.exe that was packaged with video for windows to make
custom palletes in windows>>
good, then load up a flic in Ani Pro and save out one frame as a .gif image
(this image will hold your pallete info), load it into BitEdit, run PalEdit
from within BitEdit and save the pallete file from PalEdit (.pal file)
<<which will later be used in authorware to run animation at VGA 256 color
without changing the system software colors use in menus and buttons. >>
I do this on a daily basis, and I use a combo of 3DS/PhotoSlop/Bit-PalEdit to
get what I want.
i trust this steers you in the right direction,
-Kyle
