Christopher… I don't know if you went all the way in, but I'll run this by you…Click on Control Panel, click on Enhanced 386, click on Virtual Memory, click on Change and the box should appear at the bottom with the new suggested swap file sizes. I don't think it matters what DOS you used, other than it caused a change in recognition. I just upgraded today with the Windows 3.11 add-on to get more 32-bit file access besides 32-bit disk access. I used Express Setup and sure enuff it called my hard-drive 16bit..though it's local bus and capable of 32-bit, especially with Drive Rocket software on. The 32-bit disc access box was still clicked on from the previous settings and I clicked on 32-bit file access (available with 3.11) and set the Virtual Memory back to none (It had picked a small setting during setup) and voila! Windows now recognizes my hard-drive as 32-bit access and my files are flyin'! My GIFs have never loaded as quickly…AND…in A:M, when I bring in a Targa image in Rotoscope…There's still the @10 second wait for the image to load, but zooming and moving the picture is almost instant…no waiting! BTW, Microsoft Workgroup Add-On For Windows (3.11 and it'll work solo, without a network) is only $47.35 right now at Egghead Software (-5% with the Cue card). I'm still doing quick rendering tests with the supplied Clam.Cho and it seems to be promising in picking up a little time.
