The problem lies in the version of the Microsoft mouse driver you are using.
You need to get the new POINTER.DLL which will update your mouse driver to
9.01b. I havent been able to find it on CIS, but you can download the
following file from the Microsoft BBS and it will (should) solve all your
problems.
