#Digital Animation Recor
Mr. Gary:
I just wanted to send you and the "guys" a note with my accolaids on the new
program. It is just fantastic. All of it. I would also advise anyone with a
few nickels to buy your IPAS stuff. (I think I now have all of them.)
I just completed a 500 frame animation with "all the trimmings" in record
time. Full texture mapping, multiple spots, reflections in the floor, and (of
course) smoke and fire.
It is in a word … "Cool".
I have been beta-testing the Video Machine DPR (digital player / recorder). It
is definitely a huge step forward for animation recording and any type of
broadcast editing.
I wrote the 500 frames to "tape" in 26 minutes. I assume you've tried some of
the new digital processes, what do you think of the Video Machine, or others ?
Again, pass my kudos to the guys and gals creating your neat stuff.
