HELP: I am still relatively new to CompuServe and I really don't know all the ins and outs yet. I joined this forum for my son, Chip, to use. He wants to get into the video game industry in the creative end (graphics) but has not been able to get any useful information on what kind of schooling or training would be his best choice. His high school was of no help at all. He doesn't want to do programming, that he does know. We would appreciate any information you could give us on where to go and what kind of courses he should take. Speaking from personal experience, I know he learns best by jumping in and doing which is not what college is all about. He is enrolled in a computer training school in a 15 month program which offers CAD and 3D Studio but he has found out that he will not receive very many hours of training in these areas. He has had CAD training in our high school and the high school also has 3D Studio available. Also, can you please tell me how the libraries work. I've played around with trying to get information but don't seem to be having any luck. Thank you for your time and efforts. Helen Sandy.
