Hi John, Garbage in == Garbage Out. Since you are going to be the "in" side, I would say that you should take a good look at your budget and buy as much quality as you can afford. You never know what the next client down the road will want (768x480x16million colors at 60 fields per second). You can buy Video Capture Cards today that will capture 30 frames per second directly to AVI format, in 24-bit color, at 320×240 resolution, for around $1000. That sounds like it would meet your needs but, like I say, I think you might go for something like the Digital Processing Systems Personal Animation Recorder with the TBC-IV for Video Capture. It will capture 60 fields per second at 768×480 resolution, with 24-bit color. The PAR board retails for about $2000, the TBC-IV for about $1000 and a dedicated 1/2gigabyte to 1.7gigabyte hard-drive is going to run $350 on up. -John
