First of all, let me explain that I'm in no way contractually obligated to
provide technical support for those chapters – WYSIWYG. However, since I'm an
incredibly good sport and an all-round hapless fool, I'm going to give you some
pointers 🙂
There can be some trial-and-error in getting the map to fit the text. You might
try adjusting the planar mapping with the surface/mapping move, scale and
region fit commands. A trick that might help is to temporarily set up your
opacity map as a background and turn on the background in an ortho view (views
menu, see background option). You can then zoom in/out, pan etc. until the
geometry is position correctly over the opacity map. When it looks right, do a
surface/mapping region fit around the outer boundary of the bitmap.
