//Is 2.0 a winapp? I think I have downloaded 1.0 in the past and there was a Windows //version at that time. Initially, version 1.0 was available for DOS and Windows. On the other hand v. 2.0 is only available for DOS. //As I understand it, the main benefit of Blob Sculpter is in modelling organic forms. I //have come across a demo of an IPAS routine? "a Metaballs Modeler for 3DStudio – //[named] MetaReyes V1.0" The demo flc was compelling. I don't know anything about //3DS but am I right in thinking that your app and MetaReyes are based on the same //concept? Metaballs and blobs are the same thing. I think the term "Metaball" was developed by META Corp. which have a blob modeler/animator for SGI machines. They also developed a more complex primitive named "Super Metaball" which has some added functionality. Eventually Blob Sculptor will have super metaball behavior-like primitives (I already developed the equations and the're ready to be plugged in). I've heard about the MetaReyes modeler but haven't seen the FLC that you mention. Should be interesting to take a look….the company that makes it has excellent reputation. Be aware that Blob Sculptor is a program that the Blob Team is developing for fun and in our spare time. Alfonso
