collecting sites in nys
Hi . I'm new to this forum. I'm an earth science teacher and I'm working on a
guidebook to rock, mineral , and fossil outcrops in New York State. I'm tired
of finding all the good outcrops posted, paved over or weathered away. My goal
is to put together a guidebook entitled 'Our favorite Outcrops' that I want to
share with other teachers. If you could recommend a good outcrop I'd
appreciate it. I'd need good directions, collecting tips, as well as a brief
synopsis of the local geology. thanks chris
