Steve, "Thermal Shutdowns" does not sound promising at all! I never had that problem with the A3640 (at least that I know of)… It sounds like the high-clocked '040's are running as hot as the Pentiums… Hey, there's a thought… They have a "chip freezer" for the Pentium… I wonder if it is the same form factor… Time to check. I noticed a "flickering" of the screen after using the system for about 4 hours, and immediatly shut down and let it cool off… Don Suhr 73117,1337
