David, I'm not from Gold Disk but I thought I'd give you a quick answer. Gold Disk recently posted a message which emphasized that Professional Page is NOT designed for high quality output on anything except a PostScript device. This means that LaserJet and DeskJet are only going to produce "checkprints", not real DTP output. They say that this will change in some future release, but not real soon. Meanwhile, you might want to look into a soon-to-be-released (hopefully) program from Pixelations (maybe two l's in that name) who have been on the forum here. It is called PrintScript, and it is a PostScript interpreter that will enable any printer to emulate PostScript. It will cost $89, and they specifically say that it produced fantastic quality on the DeskJet. PrintScript would thus act as the interface between Pro Page and your printer. I'm looking forward to this product since I also bought a DeskJet. The only problem I see is that the fonts included with PrintScript are very limited, and although Adobe PostScript fonts could be used, they are very expensive and come only on IBM or Mac disks. Joel
