Thanks for your help on X,Y,Z axis, lofter. Now I'm trying to accomplish the following: I have a video of a person walking against a blue backdrop. I am frame grabbing each image and wanting to map the images (.ifl) to a rectangle and have the blue backdrop transparent without using video post. I also want to be able to trace each image (for a slightly different effect) with a closed polygon to create an object with that outline. A. What is the best way to "trace" a scanned photograph to get a closed polygon to create an object in 3D editor? B. What is the best way to create a material that acts as a decal? My texture map is of a person on blue field and I want the field to be transparent. When I set texture map to 100 and opacity to 100 and give the transparancy to something other than 0, the person is see through. Even leaving transparancy to 0 and setting self illumination didn't seem to give me the result I'm looking for. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Tom
