Thanks, Dave, for the heads-up on the parallel port. I'll check it out. >>256 colors… The ability to carry 3DS around should be a pretty good trade for the color resolution. I've spent many evenings in hotel rooms wishing I was not 1500 miles from my modeling machine. Also, I do all my 3DS work at home, then drive a half-hour or so if I need to go into work. To tweak something and rerender a frame it's an hour roundtrip. The laptop should help a lot (it only has 12 megs of memory though, yikes!) JKJ
