#crash! crash! crash!
Our 3DSR4 is crashing whil;e rendering files that require swap space of 10 or
20 megs. It also crashes occasionally while working with smaller files, but it
may have been using swap space due to a prior larger file render. Once the
program starts using swap space it keeps using it whether or not it is needed
until we quit and reenter the program.
We've pretty much ruled out corrups .3DS files because we've had trouble with
more than one or two of them. We've also never had a problem rendering still
frames from these scenes after exiting/re-entering 3DS.
We have re-intalled the program a few times to help rule out corrupt code.
Scandisk shows no problems with the media.
We are running a P90 with 64megs of memory, 1 gig SCSI internal, 2 gig SCSI
external, Pegasus board, Illuminator Pro, WACOM UD1212 pad.
Ant thoughts will be most appreciated.
