#3DS / Windows/ Acad 13
Dear Adesk:
Have you given any thought to the possibility of bringing 3DStudio into the
Win/95 or Win/NT OS's, so it can join the other Adesk products already in
Windows?
Those of us using AutoCad 12/13, AME, AutoVision..etc. in Windows now would
like the "orphan (bastard?<g>) child" to join the rest of the family. I went
to an all day presentation yesterday on AutoCad 13, and I was told of this
"better" communication being developed between your product family members, but
I(we) work in an all Windows environment EXCEPT for 3DStudio 4. If you can
render in Acad 13/AutoVision at these speeds why not 3DStudio?
Supposedly Win 95 and NT now have all these fancy 3D and Animation utils
"built-in" for developers to use. Also, I'd like to add that "Renderize Live"
and "AccuRender 2.0"(Which we also use) are in Windows with animation
capabilities. Isn't 3DStudio supposed to be the superior software? I want to
go to Win 95 and/or Win NT, but what do I do with 3DStudio when they effectly
"dump" DOS?
—————————————————— Question (1): Will it
work in a DOS window under these two OS's?
Question (2): If so how bad will I downgrade it's performance in this
environment? ——————————————————
