This is sort of a shot in the dark, as this really isn't a problem with 3DS, but with my network hardware. If anyone has suggestion, I could really use them. I've just set up a new pentium 90 and there is one rather frustrating problem. When the network drivers are loaded, 3ds4 will either crash if attempting to load as workstation, or reboot the machine if "3ds slave" is run from the command line. I have an Intel EtherExpress 16 card that I use in two other 486's on the same network without any problems. I set up the 3ds files on the pentium exactly as the other two machines. The problem only occurs if I load the network drivers, as a standalone machine 3ds4 runs fine. Andrew.
