The project of compiling a list? The people who are interested would determine the goals. I'd like to be able to talk to "like-minded people" also dealing with issues of how to appropriately simplify the representation of complex biological processes for a lay audience, how to use 3DS for organic images, freelance ops in medical/legal, medical illustration, "what to charge", … and last but not least … SAVANTES will probably be hiring a new on-site 3D Studio animator with good scientific background at the North Carolina site in the next year and a half or so :-).
