Hi Jim, << I'm interested in any tutorial/reference guides for IPAS programming. I'm not new to C, but I am to IPAS and find the Docs a bit vague. Can anyone help?? >> Are you reading the IPAS3 docs or the IPAS4 docs? 3D programming is a *bit* different from other programming I've done, so I can relate to your comment..:-) The most useful tool in understanding/learning IPAS concepts has been The Script Extensions from KUB. I've been able to use scripting as a rapid prototyping tool for IPAS. Many of the dialog/UI as well as data structure access and use can be worked out using scripting. It makes the port to IPAS 'C' manageable and productive..From the recent comments in the scripting section, others are catching on to the data structures quick too. Also, I've invested in a few books and they all help me in different ways. They are: Computer Graphics, by Foley, vanDam, Feiner, Hughes 3D Computer Animation by Vince Advanced Animation and Rendering Techniques Also, I've ordered Graphic Gems volumes III and IV after seeing them in a book store, I got a number of IXP ideas.. jonas[adesk]
