Hi Alex! What you might consider is holding off of the "non-linear" or hard drive based digital editing solutions for now, and opt for a good quality overlay genlock board. That in conjunction with some good character generation, painting and possibly 2D animation software can provide a very high quality, professional look to your videos. -John
