Greetings and Salutations! I'm a Military Illustrator, assigned to the American Forces Network(AFN), in Frankfurt, Germany. AFN is the largest branch of the Armed Forces Radio & Television Network, the TV & Radio Service for Servicemembers overseas. My title is Creative Director, but I wonder sometimes who's directing what.. (but there's probably LOTS of CDs in broadcasting who ask that.) We bought an Amiga 2000 with a Video Toaster running LIghtWave 2.0 (GASP!) – it sat under-utilized for about a year (unproductive employee – LOOONG story) and now I've got a few minutes to play with it, I'm simultaeously impressived and peeved by the power of this thing. While we spend BIG BUCKS getting it accelerated (50Mhz), we spent NO money on training (it was an experiment). I'm looking for a good reference book that'll show most of the cool voodoo the Toaster can do – any suggestions Good luck with the forum – I know I'll be surfing here a lot.
