Go to the Touchvision section of the Univision Forum (GO UNIVISION); you'll find user comments, press releases, and two very complete reports on system requirements. D/Vision Pro 2.2 is a fairly inexpensive, full-featured, robust, PC-based non-linear editing system. It uses off-the-shelf hardware (486DX2-66, 16Mb RAM, VESA bus – PCI will not work). It's a great system, but strictly off-line. Don't expect to produce finished video. Rumor has it that a new release is imminent (matter of fact, due out tomorrow) which will improve video quality from "near 3/4-inch" (whatever that means) to "broadcast quality" (whatever that means). The new software will run under Windows (or Windows NT) while the current system runs under DOS. Nearest competitor in the PC world is FAST Video Machine, and on Apples: Media 100. Hope that helps.
