John, I do not know how to get a message to all in the forum, but if you could pass this along… I am the National Sales Mgr. for Unilearn and we have developed a creative way to make interactive videosfor corp. training. Using SVHS tape, Microsoft Windows based authoring tools and a standard 486, ANYONE can create a interactive video for testing and certification in less than 3 hours of training. I would like peoples feedback and interest level based on their needs for this tool. We call the family "KASEY" for Knowledge Companion (KC) and have the Kasey Developer for creating the interactive tapes and the Kasey Viewer for allowing students or employees to take any course built. As we are a small start up, the product will be ready for release in Q1, 1995 and we've booked over $101,000 in backlog comittments for the units. The developer includes a 486 system, 8MB, 370MB disk, SVGA monitor, (3) SVHS commercial grade editing decks, the Kasey Designer software, keyboard, speakers, mouse, etc. Prices range from $7,500 to $19,950.
