Hi Everone
I've just joined after hearing about this forum on the Fast Electronic
section of Multibven forum. I am what you might call a serious amateur at
video. I have as equipment 2 Sony CCDV801 Hi-8 camcorders, a Canon A1 Hi-8
camcorder, EVC100 Hi-8 deck, EVS7000 deck and 2 SLVR5 S-VHS decks, Fast
VideoMachine editing and mixing loaded in a 486 PC with 16 Megs of RAM and 500
Meg HD. I mainly do dance and theatre show videos, use 2 or 3 cameras and mix
using the Fast Video Machine. I got into the hobby because both my daughters
dance etc and got pulled into video, rapidly became the 'official
videographer'. I usually dupe small runs of tape to VHS of the shows for sale
to reduce the cost of this hobby. I am now at the stage of being unhappy with
the quality I get and am trying to figure out how I persude my wife I need a
pro 3 chip camera !!!
