There are a number of services which will do this, normally to what is called a
Kodak PHOTO-CD. Your yellow-pages should list these under PHOTO.
You can also scan the photos in yourself and give them to a CD-ROM mastering
service. The advantage here is that you make them look exactly the way you
want them. Nikon manufactures the COOLSCAN which is available in both internal
(IBM-type PC) and external (Mac and IBM) versions. It is an excellent scanner.
Once you have your slides in the way you want them, get them put onto a CD-ROM.
The COOLSCAN is available for under $2000. If you want you can even get a
CD-ROM recorder and make the CD yourself. If you are going to be dealing in
large quantities this may be appealing.
