Happy New Year Tim, Thanks for your reply (ref: new par). If I had a contract in hand I am sure I would have your view point. But for now I am slowly building up the capability and March or April '95 is okay for me. I hoped someone will comments about the purported new features. I was told by a vendor that the new PAR would allow SCSI 2 interface and be able to handle more than 2 hard drives. If prices for hard drives drop at the same rate as this year, that could mean a 8.5 GB drive should cost about $1-1.2 K in Nov '95. Hence a 2GB drive in April with the new PAR would allow lots of room for growth. I did not find anyone who had used Razor Pro, so I still do not know much more than the flyers that I have read.
