Happy Holidays to everyone!! I was overwhelmed to find this Forum in Compuserve. No, I am not an expert in Autodesk Animator, nor would I consider myself a novice. Let's say I'm a very interested starter and would like to know what are the best references and where I can obtain them to help me understand, learn and apply Autodesk Animator. All I have right now is AAplayer which started this interst of mine in Autodesk. I tried reading the Index in the Help menu for it and it didn't help me much in how to use it. But it did help me understand the basic concept on how to use the AAPlayer, and it sounded like I need to obtain either the Autodesk Animator or Autodesk Animator Pro. Am I right? Plus the AAPlayer I have, was included in Sound Blaster for its MMPlayer application. Also the manual to apply AAPlayer was just like the Index in its Help Menu (not much help to me). Can I only order Autodesk Animator or is it sold in stores also? Because I kinda lost interest in it for a while since I couldn't find it in any of the stores I've been in. Should I look harder? By the way, AAPlayer came with one sample of an animation. It was called "flowers.fli". Well, having just that one didn't help me much either. I got tired of watching that flower bloom over and over again. Also if you have any advice on what steps to take to learn Autodesk Animator in a quick way (I know its not going to be easy) it would help me lots. Thank you for your time, sorry to post such a long first message. I appreciate every piece of advice that you can provide me. It'll also make me an active member of your Forum since I noticed that Majority if not all of them have had pretty in dept experience with Autodesk Animator (and Pro). Your new member, Cy 🙂
