I am interested in video editing as a hobby. The biggest thing I want
to do is add photos I have taken to the end of videos I have taken.
ie Weddings, birthdays etc. I would also like to add music and
titles. I have a Gateway 486/66 with two 330MB drives hoping to add
SCSI and some 1 GB drives. I have an Intel Video Capture board, Adobe
Photoshop 3.0 and have ordered Adobe Premiere 4.0. I have a Sound
Blaster AWE 32 with MIDI hooked to a Technics KN2000 music keyboard.
I also have Cakewalk Professional. I have a HP Scanjet IIcx for
scanning the photos. I have done a little capturing, but was waiting
for the Premiere to begin compiling it to video. I have a VHS Video
camera and a SVHS Magnavox VCR. If anyone wants to give me some
pointers or how to best use all this I would appreciate it. So far I
have just got the equipment pulled together and haven't had time yet
to doing any production.
