I'm new to editing and bought a VMLite. I concur with Bob B. in his comments. You have to learn to play around and, as he says, invest considerable amounts of time. My view is it's a lot of fun and very, very interesting. I've had lot's of people ask if I would edit some of their stuff–just home video tapes that are loaded with a lot of junk they'd like removed, etc. The other comment, by someone else I think, is quite correct. You can get lots of help from people through the FAST forum. Guys like Bob B. and Don Landis amoungst a host of others are tremendously helpful. I haven't been disappointed, and I've virtually gone into the subject cold. Ron
