Hi, Frank. A few more words: We have encountered several problems in using miro DC1 drivers, but we changed our program's logic to bypass them. For example, when captured a frame, the byte count returned by their driver is 1 byte less than actually should fill. There are other annoying things like that. However, the flickering after 3 minutes video playing is more like a hardware problem than a driver problem. Their boards may conflict with other boards because of the DMA and IRQ settings. Nevertheless, this is more toward a common problem of all PC add-on cards, not to miro boards along. When we added it with Sound Blaster AWE32 card, ATI Mach 64 display card, and Adaptec PCI SCSI card, it is really hard to find a good combination of DMA/IRQ setting which doesn't conflict. We have spent hours to set them up all right. But, after that, everything goes so well and we don't have video flickering. Do you connect both systems to a same TV set? May be that TV need cooling. Also copied words from Bertel Schmitt [73220,2562]: BS>> Re ATI Mach 64 and Adaptec 2940. Some earlier models of the ATI card conflict with the 2940. ATI has a replacement program. I'm away from my notes, but Mike Berhan of Adaptec (73173,1662) can tell you more. He also has the latest scoop on setting up the card w/ certain mobos. Just send him a message, mention my name and ask him for the "2940/ATI Mach64" post. He'll know. Hope it helps. –Vincent Chen
