Betty, Thanks very much for the info. When you say "the manual" do you mean the AmigaDOS manual or the manual that came with the hard disk drive? I know there isn't going to be any Amiga info in the disk manual since I already have one. I spoke with Western Digital tech support, and they really don't speak "Amiga." But they said go ahead and buy one, try it, if it doesn't work, return it for a refund, no problem. Guess I'll try it (:-\). BTW, what brand and capacity did you use? -Eric
