Dear Mike: Just a couple quick questions about PageStream 2.2. On my system, I only get four colors displayed when I go into the Change Screen Colors menu: White, black, gray and blue. Does this have anything to do with the color selections when doing color seps? I normally modem my printout files to a service bureau, but up till now these have only been B&W jobs. Does the computer have to have 16 or better color capability and be able to display colors such as cyan and magenta in order to have a document printed in full color? I'm using a 1084S monitor, and yes, the screen flicker is bothersome. Would one of the better multi-sych models on the market allow better color display? I'd like also to be able to use the soft-bordered, blurred drop shadows on photos like you see in print ads everywhere. Does 3.0 have this feature? I notice that when I use a gray box behind an object as a drop shadow, the gray prints out very grainy and lores even on a Linotronic printer at 1250 dpi. Everything else looks great, but the gray box is a letdown. What, if anything, can be done to cure this? Happy holidays, Carson T.
