No, you are correct, there is no socket, just pins. But, one of the pins is missing and it corresponds to a plugged hole on the ribbon cable connector. The other ribbon cable connectors are the same way.. .and the drives are missing the pin, too. This virtually assures that everything hooks up right (unless the DPS supplied ribbon cable is wrong! 🙁 ). I've been using Imagemaster R/T, it works ok. I seem to have difficulty grabbing and moving points… they don't seem to move smoothly with the pointer, they move in big chunks. And, when I release the mouse button, the points plant themselves close to, but not where the pointer is. This is the whole problem I have with R/T. Nothing seems to be where I put it, and I have to compensate a little, then again, there is no consistancy where things end up. I find the program full of features, but kind of sloppy, and not very user friendly or sophisticated as compared to Photoshop (especially 3.0). How do you like MorphPlus? I think I'm getting it because of the new pricing. -Steve
