Thanks for your help.
I know this. The icon doesn't specify ANY path for Installer. I am running
WB 2.1, which I believe, will use the system path. That path includes C:,
which includes the directory that contains an "Installer" program. It's
just that it doesn't find it, or it is the wrong Installer.
BTW, Brian Bartlett hit on a possible problem with the path add statement
of Assign. By specifying a path to Installer in the icon, I got it to run.
But I got errors midway through the installation. I turned on the log
function, ran the installation again, tracked down the log file, and found
a reference to an error on line 96. Looking at the Installer script, line
96 is a (Library) command. So something about that statement chokes the
Installer program on my system. Remember, I am still just trying to read a
darn newsletter.
