Tab – > As an Amiga user for seven years, and a senior analyst in my company's > computer department, I can certainly handle what you describe above. > But is this your definition of "intuitive?" No, certainly not. If I gave the impression I was claiming that, I apologize. I'm the sort of user that takes an application and tweaks it until it does just what I want it to, but I'm also very conservative of RAM disk space. I looked for a way to remove all the "packing material" from Amiga Report, and someplace happened to run across Guide2Doc. It was just another tool, that made stripping Guide codes out that much easier, so I added it to my toolbox. On the other hand, "Install" and "Installer" was a bad choice on CBM's part, and I'm sure MANY people beside you and I have gotten confused about it/them. I never tried the installer on THIS application because I already knew — from before they were IN AmigaGuide format — that I wouldn't use them that way. So I unpack 'em, look at the pictures (in DiskMaster) if there are any, throw everything else out, and deal just with the .guide file. As I comment sometimes to the Anesthesia Residents that I get to teach: I sometimes think I'm not a good teacher now for beginners, because there are so many things that I simply don't think to explain because they are second nature to me now. jsaklad@welchlink.welch.jhu.edu . .
