What version of the Amiga OS are you using? If you have 2.1 or later, you have
a built-in ability to read 720K MSDOS floppies with your Amiga drive. If your
OS is older, then your best bet would be to buy CrossDOS (about $20-30) for
your Amiga, which lets you do the same thing. Once you have it installed, you
can read or write MSDOS disks with the Amiga and can transfer anything between
the machines so long as it will fit onto a 720K floppy.
From your ID number, you appear to be from England, right? If you belong to
ICPUG, you can order public domain software free from the copier assigned to
your part of the alphabet. All you have to do is send him a blank disk in a
reusable mailer along with a return-address label, postage, and the name of the
disk you want copied. If you don't belong to ICPUG – you are missing a lot of
great information, software, and fellowship. Great group.
