According to an article in my local paper (reprinted from the New Zork Times) a major NYC bank claims to have discovered calculation errors it attributes to the Pentium. The bank spokesman who didn't want to identify himself or the bank says their testing found the innacuracies could occur more frequently than intel says. The article goes on to say that scientists at Brrokhaven labs found a miscalculation in calcing the impact of colliding subatomic particles. A multimedia company in Long Island sent back two Pentium machines after a miscalculation was found in a graphics program.
