#Help with Video Board
Can anyone please help me with these questions.
Our production company wants to upgrade its graphics. We currently have a
Targa 16 (not a Targa +16). It has started to have a few problems. Our
current need is for a video capture board (single frame) that can be sync up
with a video switcher. We have a PAR board for our 3D graphics, but need a
frame buffer for CG. (We use Rio 6.3). The PAR board has the ability to adjust
its timing by software. That is want I am looking for in a new frame buffer.
My questions are these:
Which board to buy? Targa+32 or Targa+64 or Illuminator Pro or Other?
What additional software will we need?
Do the boards have a built in TBC for output video?
If no to TBC, Do you use a TBC to adjust Hue, Contrast, etc.? (Which
TBC?)
