Yes! Yes! Yes! I have a 2000 and I call PC/MeSsyDOS based BBS's all the
time…however, only programs written to run in MeSsyDOS will run in
MeSsyDOS and same for other program/operating system combinations. In
other words, you could have a game program designed to run in MSDOS ZIP'd
and in your BBS Library, Joe User could log on and download it to his
MSDOS machine, unZIP it and play the game…provided his unZIP version was
compatible with the version of ZIP you used to compress it. AmigaDOS 2.1
(perhaps 2.04 but I don't remember) and up include CrossDOS capability to
read and write MSDOS formatted floppy disks in your Amiga floppy disk
drive(s), so conversion would be a snap.
