Relax. We ALL buy what the market feeds us. From the Car we drive to the food we eat. To the cheap clones we buy. I agree with you that we need cheap clones in the Amiga marketplace. I own a 1000 (bought in 1885) two 2000's, a 3000 and a CDTV. I have more Amigas in my house than there are in the town I live in, but I am a SMALL minority. I used to try to sell the Amiga to friends but no more. It is impossible to point out the good points of the machine when they can't buy software, hardware not to be seen, no repair shops, don't see'm at work, and on an on. The major portion of the world is not computer literate. They buy what they are sold. As in advertising. Not because they are stupid, but because they don't know. If I hadn't been interested in computers enough to explore the possiblities, I would have owned some 8088 clone. Then a 286, then a 386, then a 486……. If the masses could choose the operating system they actually wanted, do you honestly think they would buy window?? Of course not. I stand by what I said. The Amiga lost the fight because it was never a fight about technology, it was a fight about marketing. Dege
