I want to think you for this post. It help me solve
a random SCSI lockup problem I've been having for about two
years now. I won't bore you with ALL gory details in trying
to chase down this illusive deamon, all the restrictions it has
put on my work and the time lose in data recovery from lockups
during disk writes.
