Brian: You might want to look into the Telebits Trailblazer, as the Amiga is moving into the Unix world now, and with Unix will come UUCP (actually for some it's here already) and the Telebits modem has built in UUCP g protocol spoofing. That is when 2 computers are xfering using the g protocol, the 2 modems (if both telebits) will fall into their own much faster protocol, and to the 2 computers it looks as if it's just another UUCP-g transfer. The modem also does this for Xmodem protocol. I also want to add that I have no hands on experience with this modem but have been told that it's the predominent modem in the Unix world. -Mike
