Michael,
I check my office for the name and phone number and I must have misplaced it.
However, call Sunrize and ask them for the name of the company that makes a
program with the word "wrench" in it.
The program is designed to change the speed of sound without changing the
pitch. When I talked to the programmmer, he reeled off a number of other things
that it does and one of them was to change Studio16 files to WAV files.
However, when you call Sunrize, you better ask them about an upgrade they were
suppose to have by now. They told me the upgrade fixed some problems that
occured when you tried to use Studio16 with this other program.
Sorry I could not find the name, but I may have thrown it out when I found out
that the program would not handle large files for speed changes. It was meant
to work with clips under a minute. And even at a minute it would take several
hours to render to a different speed.
However, if you just want it for file conversion, I don't think this limitation
will have anything to do with your application.
